The Charles County Scholarship Fund offers over 60 scholarships to seniors at Charles County High School. Interested students can visit the Charles County Public Schools (CCPS) website,, to view available scholarships, eligibility criteria, and additional requirements. All applications must be completed and submitted online by Tuesday, 1 March. Students only need to submit one application and late applications are not accepted.

The application is posted here. Application requirements include a resume, a personal statement detailing academic and career goals, two letters of recommendation, a high school transcript, and a copy of your first year report card for your first semester.

Application progress cannot be saved; Interested students must have the required documents ready before completing the application.

Students applying for any scholarship that lists demonstrated financial need as criteria must include a Student Aid Report (SAR) form for the 2022-23 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The form is available at The deadline to complete the FAFSA for Maryland students is March 1. Students who require assistance with the form or completion of the FAFSA should contact their college and career advisor.

Charles County Scholarship Fund, Inc. is a non-profit organization that provides scholarships to seniors at Charles County High School. representatives of the CCPS; The commissioners of Charles County, Southern Maryland College and the Chamber of Commerce are part of the Scholarship Fund Board. All other members of the Board of Directors are drawn from the community as a whole.
