Columbia, Missouri – In honor of a long-time employee Tim HickmanAthletics Director Desireé Reed-Francois announced that the University of Missouri Department of Athletics is establishing a scholarship in his name through the Tiger Scholarship Fund.
Heckman, who retired from his position as Deputy Athletics Director/CFO on Friday, January 14, 2022, has spent more than 30 years at Mizzou Athletics.
the Tim Hickman The Mizzou Athletics Scholarship will benefit by providing a permanent source of scholarship funding for Student Athletics. Through the support of our donors, the Department of Athletics funds more than $12 million in scholarships annually at the University of Missouri.
A Mizzou graduate, Hickman began working at the Hearnes Center in 1990 and has made countless contributions to the Tigers, including involvement in the design and construction of the Mizzou Arena, the Faurot Field South End Zone project and nearly every other athletics facility projects over the past two decades.
He has also been involved in securing some of the biggest concerts ever in Columbia, including the Rolling Stones, Elton John, Kenny Chesney and Chris Stapleton’s Last Show.
